_{We love cultures, art, music…and even anime and manga~ Even if some of us don’t, as long as it is good, mature, or even just good in general of a story plot, we're all for it...And as long as it isn't funny. Too funny, that is....Comedies.
Not saying we don’t sit down when we can to watch an episode of Family Guy or a family movie like the much-loved, ever-favorite, best animated family movie ever, The Lion King, if we wanted to...
Do we accept smilies? Yes, but not in every single post. Emotions? We almost scoff in annoyance. Chibi is out of the question if it’s meant to look cute. If it is just a small version of a character…we don’t mind~
Ever heard of mature horror? Ever heard of mature in general? When we talk about things mature and horrific, we might say that, but don't get it confused with stupid things like zombies that can barely even lift up their own heads...if they have one, that is. We mean zombies that serve the Reaper himself, cannibals that exist who don't always eat from their mouths, but their stomachs.
That, and more.
We are HallowARTS, a small, friendly community of all religions and races who all have said above things in common. We just love those dark arts. Dark arts, dark music, dark colors…But does this mean we’re Satanic? We say “Watch your mouth” to those ignorant enough to say that Goths and Horror Punks are evil just because they like such things or dress a certain way. Is that a good enough of an answer?
Fuck prejudice. Racism can go to hell. Ignorance is only bliss when you’re an asshole. Judging the book by its cover can get you killed~

Unfortunately, unlike most clubs on this site, not everyone who wants to may join.

This is the official profile for the HallowARTS members, the Ghouls, on deviantART. No, this isn’t some organization; it is more like a hangout club. At the moment, anyway. We have nothing special to show, nothing special to announce, other than the fact that all Ghouls and children of the night and the alikes are welcomed to join.

To Unfortunate-Souls*:

Want to join if something sparks your interest? Reminder: there are Ghouls, temporary Ghouls, and ReDead, also spelled ReDEAD. Temporary Ghouls are members of HallowARTS who are currently either too immature or just don't want to become true Ghouls. ReDEAD are members of HallowARTS who cannot and never will become true members of HallowARTS unless they meet ~Daoh-Da-Cl himself. Jihtix are like ReDEAD, only they want to become true Ghouls in the future (if possible), however it’s just currently impossible. That is our rule. HallowARTS is a strict little, strange little club, isn't it? Currently, there are only two temporary Ghouls, ~RadicalHL and ~Iyes. ~Falcon-Blue is the only Jihtix. What an honor~
Poes, in the chatroom and in HARTS, are those banned/not allowed to join. Members of our families who don’t like what we do (not like that, it’s more extreme than you might think) but want to join for their own reasons, are a good example of Poes. And, yes, rank named after the ghostly creatures from The Legend of Zelda.

Just note: all members of HallowARTS in general, besides Halloween, are called the Ghouls.

*Unfortunate-Souls is the codeword for unfamiliars of HallowARTS, the Ghouls and all other things related to the Hallow Artists. Ghouls is also a codeword, as well as all of the other ranks of HallowARTS.
